Hello world!
Thank you for taking the time to join us here at this T.A.L.E. metaverse pod firmware update experience today.
Now that you have logged in, it is time to commence our company presentation in the metaverse using T.A.L.E. itself.
We hope that through this experience you will all gain a taste of how far T.A.L.E. has evolved.
First of all, we would like to show you around our company, I.D.E.A., which we have recreated in the metaverse.
Please remember, however, that this space is merely a recreation. We do not store confidential company information here.
We would greatly appreciate it if members of the press refrain from exploiting this opportunity by accessing areas not on the tour in search of a scoop.
Before we delve into the T.A.L.E. update, we would like to tell you more about our company, I.D.E.A.
Our official name is "Inscription Desire Electronic Arts." Or "I.D.E.A." for short.
Starting out in the manufacture and sale of home electronics, our company was named so to reflect our desire to earn an inscription in the annals of history.
To this end, we have expanded outward from our base in Japan into various business ventures worldwide.
From our humble start in home electronics, our current business activities now span gaming, technological research and development, network service provision, entertainment, and content creation in collaboration with our partners.
In addition to our main company, we have launched seven subsidiary companies to focus on each of these areas, and, together with partner companies, including capital alliances, are working hard in each sector to ensure the satisfaction of all our customers.
Now, as I have previously explained, our company has expanded into a wide array of ventures. One such venture is a certain device that you are currently inhabiting, that is connecting your consciousnesses to the metaverse—T.A.L.E.
In fact, given how much we dedicate to this device's development and sales, the provision of software for it, and operation of its network, one might say that it's one of our current main lines of work.
Thus, we have gathered you all here today to give you a sneak peek into its current evolution.
Let us review T.A.L.E.'s history and see what lies ahead in its future.
The presentation about our forthcoming major update will follow this section.
"T.A.L.E." Or "Transportive Another Life Engine." As each and every one of you well know, it was this very company that was the first ever to release a fully immersive metaverse gaming pod, so named after its purpose of transporting users to another life.
Diverging from existing VR technology, the devices fitted inside this pod do not rely on actual physical movements, instead reading brainwaves and motor signals and projecting them onto an in-metaverse avatar.
This facilitates a fully immersive metaverse experience, equivalent to living another life, as the device's full name suggests. And as the abbreviated name alludes to, it also gives users the opportunity to experience stories firsthand.
Right now, we are in a digital reconstruction of the I.D.E.A. corporate building, yet it feels completely real.
This device is currently popular in facilities like amusement centers in Japan and elsewhere around the world.
User numbers are expected to increase globally following planned updates to the automatic translation feature, providing support for even more languages.
Along with this increase, we also plan to expand the number of software titles available.
When T.A.L.E. was first released, we alone developed software for it, but after development was opened up to third parties, the number of available titles rapidly rose, reaching over 50 at the end of last year.
Hit titles such as Digimon Liberator have driven this trend and we are expecting a steady growth in the line-up. New titles will be announced at exhibitions, so please look forward to that.
Naturally, while our company has been very successful, it does face its own challenges.
After being the first company in the world to release metaverse gaming pods and achieving such a favorable reception, our razor focus on this field has led to a delay in the development of an at-home fully immersive device, leaving us trailing behind our competitors.
However, as recently announced, we are going full steam ahead in developing a home version of T.A.L.E. for general release.
As you can see in this concept art, we are aiming to utilize the goggle-like device found within existing T.A.L.E. devices as a base to create a device at a size and cost that's feasible for personal use.
With regards to software, we are in the middle of making tweaks for titles requiring peripheral devices, and intend to make it possible for many of the titles previously only playable in amusement arcades to be played at home.
And now for some brand-new information.
One of the features of the at-home fully immersive devices currently on the market is that many of them can be used for professional purposes, including in-metaverse conferences.
Although up until now T.A.L.E. has been developed as a metaverse pod for gaming, the at-home T.A.L.E. will also facilitate your office needs.
By establishing a new and secure connection for safer communications, work can be undertaken in a virtual corporate space just like this one, giving you the feel of a real-life office without the limitations of a physical location.
We're utilizing all of the expertise we have cultivated through the development of gaming devices to propose novel office solutions, so please look forward to seeing those in the future.
Moving on...
We would like to thank you for listening to this explanation about T.A.L.E. and our company.
Now, without further ado. The advanced update experience.
Please proceed this way.
Here we hope you will enjoy your experience of the new and improved T.A.L.E. with your body, and within your mind.
